How To Reach Us.
Costa Verde village and camping-ground, Ricadi (VV), is located between Tropea and Capo Vaticano, on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, 70km. south of Lamezia Terme, 45km. south-west of Vibo Valentia, 90km. north of Reggio Calabria, and approximately 50km. south of Pizzo Calabro and 8km. south of Tropea.
We can be reached by car, by train (Ricadi station is 1.4km away) or by air (Lamezia Terme airport is 70km. away and Reggio airport is 90 km. away).
BY CAR, CARAVANS AND CAMPERVANS FROM THE NORTH: Exit the no-toll motorway "A3" (Salerno-Reggio Calabria) at Vibo-S.Onofrio. After approximately 5km., entering Vibo Valentia (traffic lights and flower bed with palms and a police training school), turn right onto the "panoramic" (downhill avenue with pine trees and sea view in the distance to the right).At the end of the "panoramic" DON`T TURN RIGHT for Tropea-Vibo Marina but turn left for Ricadi-Capo Vaticano and then, after 80 metres/yards, when you come to the hospital, turn right into Viale Kennedy. At the end of this avenue take a compulsory right turn and after about 150 metres/yds turn left. When you see a small garden with pines and a children`s playground opposite a church, turn right again and drive straight ahead. Leaving the town behind, continue for about 6km. in the direction of Reggio Calabria and, at the airport and barracks of the Carabinieri (military police) - recognisable by the high railings and the traffic lights - turn right towards Tropea-Ricadi-Capo Vaticano. At the Zungri crossroads (signpost Costa Verde), DON`T PROCEED STRAIGHT TOWARDS TROPEA but turn left towards Spilinga, Panaia, Ricadi, Capo Vaticano, San Nicolò (brown arrow Costa Verde) and then proceed straight on towards Tropea. One hundred metres/yds after a level crossing, following the sign posts, turn left and go straight on for about 600 metres/yds, then turn right towards the sea along our own private road.

BY CAR, CARAVAN OR CAMPERVAN FROM THE SOUTH: Exit the "A3" motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria) at Rosarno, turn right and go straight ahead to the town (NOT IN THE DIRECTION OF VIBO VALENTIA BUT TOWARDS TROPEA). From here, continuing in the direction of Tropea, go on towards Nicotera, Joppolo, Coccorino and Panaja and then take a left turn to reach Ricadi and S.Nicolò. From here go on, following our signposting in brown, towards Tropea. 100 metres/yds after a level crossing turn left and, still following our signposting in brown, after about 600 metres/yds turn right onto our own private road.

- By Train: If possible book on a train which passes through Tropea-Ricadi, and in that case you can get off at Ricadi (the holiday village is about 1,400 metres/yds away). Guests who have a booking with us can, on arrival at the station, telephone the village (tel. 0963/663090) and a car will be sent to collect them.
Instead, leaving the train at "Lamezia Terme Centrale" will mean taking a taxi and some hard negotiating of price is necessary . . . or alternatively you can catch a connection for Tropea and get off at Ricadi (two stops after Tropea).

- By Air: Arrival at the airport of Lamezia Terme or Reggio Calabria and then a taxi (negotiating the price first...) or instead by train to Ricadi.
